I always thought this problem looked like Bozo the clown brushing his teeth.  Point  A will be moving vertically downward while point B slides in the slot.  Note that  the slot has a fixed center of curvature, and pin B makes a circular path around that center. At the instant that point A has the velocity and acceleration shown, find the acceleration of point B and the angular velocity and acceleration of the connecting rod.
